		<description>Dear Geoff,
My Japanese Permaculture readers and I organized an &quot;Eden on your Balony&#039; stall at the Sustainable Living Festival this coming weekend. Its got fountains, useful, beautiful plants, Permie art, Permie books. I should have asked memebers of this group earlier if they had anything small, ingenious and amazing to sell, but better late than never. Its on at Federation Square, 16, 17, 18 Feb.
I would also like to create a folder of information on local (Victorian) Permaculture courses and designers for interested people to look through. Its a good chance, as over 122, 000 interested people are expected.
I could try printing out some of your courses to , but I would need photos too.
At the moment, most photos in your gallery aren&#039;t availiable!
my blogspot has really pretty pictures of my Permaculture gadgets, please enjoy
Love

<description>Geoff, A couple of months ago I was lucky enough to hear you talk
on &#039;swails&#039; at the Byron Beach Resort. Was absolutely facinated by
it. I have recently been appointed to the NSW Ministerial Advisory
Council in Organics to the NSW Govt. DPI. I have the opportunity
to go to Jordan for the first two weeks of Oct 06 and wanted to look
at a couple of these projects, can you recommend who I should speak
to? Or, how to get to the projects. Thanks for an inspirational
speech. Cath Ford

Hi Cath

<description>I was also completly amazed by the jordan Project. I live in Iran and for years my friends and I have contemplated huge pieces of land ( completly arid) imagining how beautiful it could be if it was revived. We took it to the part where we are discussing the possibilty of purchasing one of those lands to go and get settled there.
But we have no experience what so ever in agriculture and even less in permaculture.. Just a vision in which we beleive for our children and ourselves.
Are their any trained specialist in permaculture in Iran? How can we get this vision to become reality? Is such a project accessible to regular people or should it be backed by local or gov authorities ( financialy wise)?
Thank you in advance for all your feeds,

Hans
Hi Hans
there is no one operating in Iran that I know of but that does not mean there is no one in Iran trained up. We have been invited into Iran twice to consult for people to exactly what you are intending to do but each time it fell through at the last minute, we even got our visa&#039;s last time. Aproject like this is definately accessible to regular people but could also be backed up by the local or government authorities or aid organisations.
We would love to help you get established.
