April 2012 Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Course and Internship

A PRI Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Course is approaching. Starting on the 8th of April, 2012 it will run for two intensive weeks at PRI Australia’s demonstration site, Zaytuna Farm, The Channon, NSW.

As students of Zaytuna Farm you will be taught and shown examples of designing for energy conservation, food production systems, water conservation and storage, soil biology and bio diversity and more.

PRI’s PDCs are based on the curriculum set out by Bill Mollison and his book "Permaculture: A Designers’ Manual", which is included in the cost of tuition.

As of the 20th of February there are only three places remaining.

Emerge as an accredited permaculture designer with theoretical and practical experience that will enable you to intelligently improve your own land and/or embark on a permaculture design career.

This course is FarmReady approved. The FarmReady course number for this course is FRTC00477. Farmers, primary producers and land managers may be eligible for reimbursement of the costs of tuition, travel costs and accommodation.

No prior knowledge is necessary to take our Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Courses.

Permaculture Beyond a PDC = PRI’s Ten-Week Internship Program

This PDC is followed directly by PRI’s Ten-Week Internship Program, starting on the 23rd of April.

As of the 20th of February there are only two places remaining.

This program is an opportunity for interns to learn and participate in everything we are doing and developing at Zaytuna Farm. Interns will take responsibility of all systems from Zone 1 through to Zone 5. Included in the process will be five specialist courses, which are also open to the public;

Prior knowledge: Student must have completed a PDC to take part in our Internship Program.
