Conferences, Courses/Workshops, Presentations/Demonstrations, Social Gatherings — by Craig Mackintosh PRI Editor August 1, 2011
In case you’ve not been paying attention, I thought I’d mentioned that in addition to what will be an awesome International Permaculture Conference & Convergence (IPC10), there are some courses both before and after the event which you may find to be valuable add-ons to your stay, and which will make your trip to Jordan even more worthwhile.
Before the Conference:
- Pre-IPC Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course, 3rd – 15th September 2011: Teachers/speakers include Bill Mollison, Geoff & Nadia Lawton, Warren Brush and Brad Lancaster. Location, Amman, Jordan.
- Compost, Compost Tea and Vital Soil Health – 2-day course with Geoff Lawton, 11-12 September, 2011: held in Amman, Jordan, and also at the Jordan Valley Permaculture Project (aka ‘Greening the Desert – the Sequel’) site in the Al Jawfa, Dead Sea Valley area in western Jordan.
After the Conference:
- Seed Savers Workshop – 6-day course with Kay Baxter and Bob Corker, 25-30 September, 2011: held at the Jordan Valley Permaculture Project (aka ‘Greening the Desert – the Sequel’) site in the Al Jawfa, Dead Sea Valley area in western Jordan.
Please note, if you’re intending to book for the IPC10, you are advised to do so as soon as possible. After August 5 the costs will go up!Comments (0)
