Thank you so much everyone for the kind comments and support. All of this wouldn’t be possible without the support of our friends and colleagues! The site is only a week away from being ready and today we start making test piles of all the materials we will be working with, so after many months of office work we start getting our hand dirty…yah!
Can’t wait to show you all around the site when its up and fully operational, it’ll be compost heaven!

Congratulations to the team at TrustNatureFNQ, Northern Gulf NRM and Tablelands Regional Council for bringing the idea, the concept and the operation together. I know that the farmers in our area are keen to go compost, so good luck with the project and dont forget compost tea.

Is this model something you could replicate and show others how to work with their council and shire to implement this sort of business?
I’m on the Gold Coast Qld, and with 600,000 people. We have the resources and I believe the forward thinking people. Keep us posted on the progress.
