I have recently purchased a copy of the Permaculture DVD's by Geoff Lawnton, and wanted to express my thanks & admiration for a great educational DVD. I have used many ideas on our block of land to establish an Orchard/Food Forest, and Vegetable/Herb Patch.

I can't wait for the Introduction to Permaculture DVD to come out.

Geoff's obvious love of what he does is inspiring.

Thanks Again

Excellent article. I live in the United States in a temperate zone, Zone 5. Does anyone have any ideas for perennials in the temperate zone? I currently have sweet potatoes, potatoes, jerusalum artichoke, asparagus, and some berries. I'm looking for more perennial vegetables.

Wow, this is a fantastic overview of the process of establishing a permaculture system. I've never really seen it laid out as a timeline like this.

We're currently in year 1 on a suburban block, but looking at things from this new point of view has given me some ideas for what to do next.

Thanks for a great article!
