we have a lot to learn from these examples, the amazing thing is that they are going down the road of agricultural degradation to produce (in theory only) more food with chemicals, this is at the expense of long term productivity, which we are now faced with here in Australia and most of the so called developed world. We have NEVER produced significant amounts of additional foods using chemicals, only a significant amount of additional weight of food, it is nutrient that we need, not bulk. Chemical production is only a short term profit making scheme that leads to collapse of all natural and sustainable systems. we need to learn more about natural systems technology and to absolutely trust nature in all things....for more info drop me an email looktropical@bigpond.com
