I wish it wasn't, but then if it wasn't we'd be doomed for sure from the CO2, so its a blessing in disguise. I've done my world travel while their was fuel, doing my part by providing global dimming...thats a twisted joke, and now I have my property where I'm moving in a month to build a great passive solar studio house my German architect flat mate has helped me design. If I've read the writing on the wall right, I should have a year or so to get the house, chickens, pigs, bees, veggies and trees in, and to get the boat for fishing and gun for meat and defense. If I sound slightly smug its because I've spent 10 years watching obscene consumption and corporations spreading their cancer deeper and deeper into our lives. Running out of fuel will be more of a blow to them than us, if we cut our dependence and relearn how to look after ourselves as a community. Right on, right on, right on!
