FullCircle LLC Position: Partner – Permaculture Services January 2002 - present

Focus for the company has included the development of new project initiatives in organic waste management using vermiculture and composting technology, and development of consulting services with a range of clients in the humanitarian aid and development field. Recent work (2003) has included a needs assessment in Iraq, focused on environment and agriculture on behalf of Counterpart International, and a resource flow/opportunity analysis undertaken in Kiribati on behalf of the Federation of the South Pacific – Kiribati. Valentec Systems Inc: Permaculture Study (US D.O.D Funded) Position: Permaculture Project Manager January 1 2001 – December 2001

Responsibilities • Coordinate project activities related to permaculture as potential incubator of new business on disused army weapons production facility. • Manage staff and interns, liaise with local government representatives, seek new partnerships within local community. • Secure potential new businesses based on appropriate use of local natural capital and human resources.

Responsibilities: • Coordination of UNHCR’s program of assistance to refugee affected areas through USD 2 million Quick Impact Projects (QIPS) Program, and campsite rehabilitation and development program for 10 refugee campsites. • Liaison with all stakeholders including Macedonian Government, donor representatives, International and national NGO’s, Municipal authorities and beneficiary communities. • Development of QIPS management system. • Reporting to UNHCR and multilateral donor agencies

CARE International in Macedonia Position: Camp Manager, Cegrane Refugee Camp June 1 1999 - September 1 1999

Responsibilities: • Coordination of activities of the camp, including food and non-food logistics, warehousing, camp accommodation, essential infrastructure, land allocation, information dissemination, planning, development and maintenance of basic infrastructure and community facilities and promotion of community leadership structures • Liaison with NGO’s, UN agencies, visitors, donors, media and Macedonian Govt. representatives • Management of a CARE staff of 11 international and 160 national and refugee staff.

CARE International in Papua New Guinea Position: Emergency Relief Coordinator, Papua New Guinea January 1998 to February 1999

Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of CARE Australia’s involvement in emergency relief in PNG including program, operations, administration, project design and proposal preparation, finance and human resources • Liaise with relevant PNG government departments and donor representatives • Establish and maintain appropriate staff health and security measures for operations in Port Moresby, Mt.
